Forget Not

Forget not when you are alive

Someday you are going to die

Forget not when are happy

Someday you are going to be sad

                   Forget not when you are laughing

                   Someday you’ll be crying

                   Forget not when you have much to eat

                   Someday you may starve

Forget not when you are listening to Dharma

Someone somewhere is deprived of Dharma

So let the message of Lord Buddha

Be lightened in every heart

In highest snowy mountain

There is a place like heaven

That is Ladakh

Oh! Ladakh

There is no other place like you

          People of all walks, all faiths

          Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists

          Live in peace and harmony

          Oh! Ladakh

MY SCHOOL: THE BEST SCHOOL

Students come to school in uniform so fine

Walk everywhere in line

They follow every rule

When they are in school

          They wish teachers everyday

          Love youngers in every way

          They follow every rule

          When they are in school

They don’t throw paper anywhere

Put them in dustbin with care

Thet follow every rule

When they are in school

          I love my school very much

          I went everywhere in search

          Found no school so fine

          Like the one which is mine

One evening I met a guy

Who’s looking for something to buy

The shopkeeper was a boy

And she bought a toy

So the days go by

Saying hi and bye

We meet by saying hi

We depart by saying bye

I am happy everyday

When I meet her on the way
